I was given the opportunity to read, How to Catch Happy, a wonderfully worded e-book. A delightful read about fishing for happiness. What makes you happy in life? Do you remember what makes you truly happy? This e-book isn't a 10 step process but insightful stories that will awaken you to the happiness in your life.
Reading this book made me encourage my husband to find a job that he loves, rather than keep the stable one he hates. (even if the insurance is good) Life is too short to spend it doing things you don't enjoy. I recently found a balance between a job I love and being a mom that makes me happy. Staying home raising my kids and being an Independent Scentsy Consultant. He deserves the same fulfillment.
I can't wait to share this book with my parents. My mom recently got a e-reader for her birthday so she would love to have this wonderful enlightening life guide.
I was given a copy of this e-book in return for my honest review.

National Compliment Day
Today is National Compliment Day.
What is the nicest compliment you have received?
The best compliments I've received:
As mom, when my mom told me my kid's are the most kind, politest, and well-behaved kids. (With 5 kid's I guess everyone is expecting a pack mentality to take over.. like lord of the flies.)
As a chef, it was when one of the customers asked to speak with me on what was a really bad night. I was pleasantly surprised when she told me that eating a slice of my Kahlua Mocha Fudge Pie was better than sex. (to be fair that pie is awesome.. but she must be doing something wrong)
As a woman, when my husband upon seeing me naked just days after delivering our 5th child, told me that I am the most beautiful, strongest, sexiest woman in the world to him. (smart man)
From a stranger, While 8 months pregnant with Nadia, an older man stopped at a red light turned to me as I was waiting for the light to change, He told me that I was glowing with a natural beauty that radiated. It sure made my very pregnant day. (no makeup, overalls and very round belly is a good look for me.. I guess)
Compliments aren't just for receiving make sure to give a few out to those around you. You never know just how much happiness your words could bring to someone's day.

Thankful Thursday
Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.
-- Buddha
That is one of many quotes I love and want it framed to hang on my wall as a daily reminder.
One of my many New Year's Resolutions is to be more thankful for my many blessings. I'm going to be writing Thankful Thursdays to remind myself that I have many wonderful things to be grateful for no matter what stress is going in my life.
What do you have to be thankful for today?

One of my many New Year's Resolutions is to be more thankful for my many blessings. I'm going to be writing Thankful Thursdays to remind myself that I have many wonderful things to be grateful for no matter what stress is going in my life.
- My wonderful husband, for showing me with everyday small gestures that he loves me.
- Nadia, for being the loving little girl that she is and always ready for a hug. She is always full of cheer no matter the situation, her smile brightens my day.
- My little sister Melissa, even though she moved out of state she still depends on me to be her shoulder to lean on.
- My older daughters Lauryn and Morgan, for their continued health and happiness as they mature into young ladies.
- Maxx's quick recovery from his first cold. It was a horrible, emotionally and physically exhausting week.
- My wonderful group of friends/mothers on Facebook for always making me laugh when I need it the most. You know who you Hot mama's are.
