Welcome to 2016!

Happy New Year!

I hope this year is one of big positive changes for my family and yours as well.

As with every year, as family we are going to make resolutions for the year.

The 4 topics I encourage my family to make one resolutions each in are:
Health
Spiritual
Education
Personal

We will write our resolutions down on a big sheet of paper. Make sure to include smaller steps to help make the achievable. Then this will be hung where we can see it every day.

A New Year

With each new year comes great expectations.  2012 is going to be the year I am not going to expect things to happen.  I am going to take the actions to make things happen.  Be in control of my life.

At the end of every year I take the time to think about positive things I can do to change my life for the better.   These are the resolutions I make to myself.  No one else will care if I met my resolution or not. I will know.

My Resolutions:
  • Get on a consistent workout routine again.
I feel better when I am on a workout routine.  30 day shred... We meet again. ::knee's shake::
  • Sit down as a family for dinner more often.
It is very fulfilling as a stay-at-home mom to look around the table at her healthy, happy family.
  • Improve household organization.
With my addiction to Pinterest I have found some great projects I can work on to accomplish this with.

New Year's Resolutions

I make New Year's resolutions every year.  Some years I am better at following through with them than others.  When I set impossible goals I just set myself up to fail.  I plan to set reasonable goals as my resolutions.

  • To get my house more organized.  I'm tired of looking for this one certain item and instead of finding it I am scrambling around looking.  I've already made a good start on most the closets and both kid's rooms.
  • To exercise more often every week.  I want to improve my health, but allow myself to go too many days without exercising.  I want to reach a healthy BMI.
  • To blog more often.  I have been a bad blogger in the past.  I want to share more with the public about the randomness in my mind and many things I love that make my life easier or are just plain wonderful.
  • To say thank you more often.  Speak kinder and have more patience.

What are you New Year's resolutions?  Do you even bother to set them?  How good are you about keeping them?  I love to hear your responses.

Any organization tips for a hopefully reformed slacker?
